Castleinch Venue and Market – Ireland’s largest and longest running market happens each Sunday from 8.00am to 4.00pm at Castleinch, which is less than 10 minutes from Kilkenny City on the Callan Road.
This walk is one of a range of scenic walks developed by Trail Kilkenny and designed to allow you explore more of the great outdoors. Distance/Time is approx 7km/2 to 2.5 hrs. Terrain features forestry roads, grassy path and country roads.

Creamery House is an 18th century Georgian house located in the centre of the town of Castlecomer in County Kilkenny. Originally built in approx.1750 by the Wandesforde family who lived on the eastern side of the Deen river which flows through the town. Creamery House became dilapidated over the years but has now been extensively restored.
Danville House Farm is a family fun business set in an old Georgian Farm just a short walk from Kilkenny city. Set in 80 acres of lush green fields the Farm has everything for the Equestrian enthusiast. The Equestrian Centre is AIRE and BHS approved and all staff are fully qualified. History and geology blend at Dunmore Cave to give an interesting and unique insight into this landmark. Consisting of a series of chambers formed over millions of years, it contains some of the finest calcite formations found in any Irish cave.
