Kilkenny City

Nowlan Park, home to Kilkenny's famed black and amber stripes since the 1930’s. Kilkenny GAA (Cumann Luthchleas Gael, Cill Chainnigh) is the largest sporting organisation in the county. Community based, it organises Hurling, Football, Camogie, Handball and Ladies Football activities for all age groups while providing a comfortable and modern setting for spectators. Recent renovations have made room for global stars to embark upon Kilkenny to perform under the roof of Nowlan Park and have provided the opportunity for corporate guests to host meetings and events. Click Here for more information.

O’Gorman’s Lane Loop Walking Trail Kilkenny

Starts from Primary School in Bennettsbridge where parking is available. Distance/Time is approx 4km/1hr. Terrain includes country roads, old laneways, woodland tracks, riverbank. Would suit all levels of fitness. Part of Trail Kilkenny.

Reign of Terror is an obstacle course race set in medieval Kells, Co. Kilkenny and takes place on Saturday 21st October 2017. The terrain in Kells is tough; muddy, hilly and marshy with numerous natural obstacles and river crossings that makes the event very challenging, yet ideal for team bonding and group entries.

South Kilkenny Cycle Loop Bennettsbridge Stoneyford Kells

Starting at the Trail Kilkenny Kiosk on the Parade, the loop takes you through the towns of Bennettsbridge, Stoneyford and Kells. Distance is 41 km and time is 2 to 3 hours. Terrain features country roads linking the main towns in south Kilkenny. One of the many exciting things to do in Kilkenny.
