Kilkenny City

Kilkenny provides the historic backdrop for Ireland’s 2nd Medieval Marathon on 16th September 2017.  Participants will set off from the grounds of Kilkenny Castle at 2pm. The route will take in some of the most historic sites in the city before winding out the country roads, making its way back to Kilkenny to finish on The Parade in the heart of the city.

Kilkenny Activity Centre, as seen on TV3, BBC, RTE and Irish TV, is a purpose built activity centre which caters for groups from age 7+. Our activities include bubble soccer, splatball, paintball, giant darts, an outdoor assault course and loads of fun! We are located to the rear of the Orchard House Bar and Restaurant and our grounds, which cover five acres include two bubble soccer fields, four paintball arenas and of course our "Hells Kitchen" assault course.

Pococke Golf Course is a mature 12 hole Parkland course, open to the public and which is just 5 minutes from Kilkenny City Centre. Footgolf is played on an 18 hole golf course using a football. Rugbygolf... the new sport in Ireland is played over 9 holes, using a rugbyball and kicking tee. Kilkenny to Bennettsbridge Walking Trail Kilkenny

This is the second part of the Nore Valley Walk. The walk starts under the Ossary bridge and heads south following the river Nore as far as Bennetsbridge. Distance/Time approx 11km/2 to 3 hours. Terrain includes Grasslands, roadways, river banks.
